yuKONTEMPORARY is a 100% Yukon-based, family-run, Whitehorse business.

We run on strong coffee and good design. Everything in our eclectic collection of wooden objet de art is self-designed and hand-finished. We specialize in small-batch wooden products, sometimes even upcycling Found Objects (to keep them out of the local landfill).

We do most of our thinking and design work in winter. When we're not in our home studio puzzling over sketches, finessing designs, and making professional-grade maps (yes, we make those too) or in our workshop, you'll find us on the trails, toting bear spray, binos, and cameras.
